starting med school, bro. I will be competing against all the other med students, who are all as smart or smarter than me, on the USMLE step 1 licensing exam...and if I don't do well above average then I might not be able to get the specialty that I want. So I need to study my ass off. Plus, from what I've heard from most med students, most of them are studying their asses off simply to avoid flunking out, nevermind scoring well above average...
