New WC3 Patch (1.25) Out

Just wanted to let everyone know that the recently-announced new patch is out now. Just log onto BNet to download it automatically.

Negro, I think you'll have to change something with the bots to get them to work, but I'm sure you know more than I do about that. Please fix them soon =D (and any update on the video? It's been way more than 6 days lol).

will somebody find me a version switcher or something?

this always happens to me, it just never works! and says "An error occured during the patch process" and some more shit

If you're using windows vista or 7, did you make sure that you're running wc3 as an administrator? If you are, that solves 95% of problems with anything on windows. Other than that idk, the patch should be on the bnet website within the next few days for a manual download.

Here is the totorial :

1. hmm click on start (buttom left icon), click on run (or search for it)

2. Type in the box : regedit - Press enter

3. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Blizzard Entertainment\ or something like that, might be diffrent for some reasonss

4. On the left side (the left side is actually where the folders are), right click and select new/key.

5. Name the key Warcraft III

6. Right click ON THE KEY YOU JUST CREATED, and click on create new string value

7. Name the string value : InstallPath

8. And the path should be the location of your warcraft 3. e.g. c:\program files\warcraft III\


Try installing the patch again it should work

I might have skipped a step since i did that 3 years ago but try it.

I just googled "problems with uploading videos on youtube" and found this page:

It has a list of file formats supported by youtube. Maybe your video is in a different one, and maybe you could change the format so that it works? I honestly don't know, but there you go anyways, I can at least say I tried helping =D.
